Moreover, TSC CEO Nancy Macharia emphasized that the commission required a significant budget of Sh2.2 billion for facilitating teacher promotions across various job levels.
Moreover, the TSC received Sh4.8 billion for the recruitment of 20,000 intern teachers, marking a significant increase compared to the previous year’s allocation of Sh2.5 billion for teacher recruitment. This allocation highlights the government’s dedication to improving the education sector and offering opportunities for educators to advance in their careers.
In conclusion, the TSC is gearing up for a series of crucial teacher promotion interviews across different phases, ensuring a fair and systematic process for educators to advance in their careers. This aligns with the government’s substantial budget allocation for the education sector, reflecting its commitment to improving the quality of education in Kenya.
