Teachers Service Commission (TSC) to Implement Salary Hike for Newly Promoted Educators.
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) will increase the salaries of recently promoted teachers. This decision impacts 36,504 educators who have advanced to new grades and will see a significant improvement in their compensation.
According to TSC, payroll preparations are in progress to accommodate these changes. A notable 80% of the teachers promoted through Advert Nos. 46/2023 to 69/2023 remained in their current roles but will benefit from the grade advancements (C2 to D5).
The commission has committed to updating the payroll for these promotions by June 15, 2024. It is crucial that all promotions are reflected in the payroll by this deadline to ensure timely salary adjustments.
