Principals of secondary schools in Murang’a are transferred by TSC.
The principals of Murang’a’s secondary schools were transferred by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) before the commencement of the second term of courses the following week.
The teacher’s employer has also promoted a few of the deputy principals.
John Mwangi has been succeeded at PK Secondary School by Andrew Maina, the veteran principal of Ichagaki Mixed Secondary School.
Maina conveyed his appreciation for overseeing Ichagaki Secondary School’s development for fifteen years.
“I am taking 660 students with me from Ichagaki Mixed School, where sixteen years ago there were only 66,” he said.
Julia Muturi, the principal of Kamahuha Girls, moves to Musa Gitau in Kiambu County following Rhoda Wamaitha’s departure.
Wamaitha has been moved to Nginda Girls in Maragua in lieu of Veronica Mwai, who has been transferred to Kamahuha Girls.
The head teacher transition, according to Francis Ng’ang’a, director of the Murang’a TSC, is a standard procedure.
“This is a routine exercise by the employer with no cause for alarm,” Ng’ang’a declared.
The directors of education for the sub-county have reportedly been in responsible of managing the ongoing handover procedure in the affected schools, according to information provided to The Standard.
The deputy principal at Kamahuha Girls, Hannah Wangari, has been moved to the Kahuro sub-county’s Koimbi Mixed Secondary School.
Danstan Ngare from Mweru Secondary School in Kiharu transfers to Gaitheri Secondary School in lieu of Ngaruiya, who is going to Vidhu Ramji Secondary School in Murang’a town.
Rose Kihara has been removed as Senior Chief Girls, Kiambu, Karuri Gakure Secondary School, Kangema’s deputy principal.
