University of Nairobi Students to Gain from Huawei ICT Program.
The University of Nairobi (UoN) students will benefit from Huawei’s global flagship ICT program, whose focus is to equip them with cutting-edge technology skills and practical experience. This initiative aims to enhance their technical proficiency and prepare them for careers in the ICT industry.
Huawei’s Management Trainee Program recently conducted its first campus workshop of the year at UoN’s main campus in Nairobi. The program’s objective is to identify and nurture fresh talent in the ICT sector. Titled “The Sky Is the Limit,” the program encourages university graduates to register by May 31, 2024. In addition, it also aims to provide participants with advanced ICT skills and secure top positions in the industry, including potential employment opportunities with Huawei upon completion of the training.
Key attendees at the workshop included Steve Kamuya, the Dean of Students at UoN, and Fang Zheng, the Human Resource Director at Huawei Kenya. Their presence underscored the importance of this initiative for both the university and Huawei.
