Teachers will be replaced by promoted individuals in acting capacity by TSC.
Teachers Service Commission (TSC) employees who are currently administrators but did not receive promotions will be replaced.information regarding TSC promos.
Teachers who were not promoted and are currently holding positions as senior masters, headteachers, deputy headteachers, deputy principals, headteachers, and principals will no longer be in these positions.
The Commission had advertised 36,505 promotion vacancies in September of last year. TSC has made available a 724-page list containing the details of successful instructors.
TSC has also started to offer promotion letters to instructors who show success through its county directors.
From January to March of this year, the Commission named a number of deputies to hold the positions of head teacher and principal at various elementary and secondary schools.
This happened at a time when TSC was managing a significant number of retirements from head teachers and principals.
In addition, the TSC instructed the county and subcounty directors to ensure that there are no gaps in the educational system.information regarding TSC promos.
TSC conducted interviews for teacher promotions in December and January. Interviews for elementary school teachers were held in December 2023.
Interviews for post-primary school teachers were held in January 2024. Approximately 155,000 educators were selected for the short list.
TSC will send promotional letters to the 36,505 successful teachers, who will then need to submit five Chapter 6 documents.

A current Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Certificate of Good Conduct was priced at 1,050. The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) Free Tax Compliance Certificate Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) clearance without fee Free A Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) Clearance Certificate, which costs $2,200, was required by the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB). TSC has hinted that those appointed to deputy and headteacher positions will be placed outside of their present sub-counties.
Compared to other schools, senior instructors are more likely to work in schools in their current sub-counties that have openings.
However, those that advance through confirmation will work in the schools where they have years of practice in performing.
Teachers who did not make the cut will receive regret letters attesting to their attendance at the interview.
