The celebrations began in March when President William Ruto launched the centenary events with the ‘TVET@100 Torch and Flame’ relay at Nyeri National Polytechnic, commemorating 100 years of TVET in Kenya.
The primary objectives of the celebrations are to enhance access to and participation in TVET, improve its quality and relevance, boost perception and stakeholder engagement, and promote better governance and accountability.
