MKU Graduates Head to Germany.
Mount Kenya University is making strides in sending over 5000 graduates to Germany as part of an ambitious initiative to see more graduates working abroad.
Through a partnership with accredited German hospitals, these graduates are receiving comprehensive sponsorship packages that include work permits, visas, contracts, and air tickets for their paid apprenticeships. This opportunity stems from a collaborative effort between President William Ruto and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, aiming to provide 250,000 job opportunities for Kenyans by June 2023.

In alignment with this national agenda, Mount Kenya University has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Koblenz University of Applied Sciences, Germany. This collaboration focuses on developing strategies to fulfill the President’s vision of job creation, offering Kenyan graduates a pathway to gainful employment and valuable international experience.
This initiative not only benefits the graduates but also strengthens the ties between Kenya and Germany, fostering educational and economic partnerships that contribute to the development of skilled professionals and global opportunities for growth.
