Ministry Gives New Computers to Ereteti Secondary School.
Ereteti Mixed Secondary School in Kajiado County recently acquired 10 computers from the Ministry of Education (MoE). This donation aligns with the government’s plan to enhance ICT learning in schools and bridge the digital divide in Kenya’s education system.
The school’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) served as the venue for receiving the computers. Parents, students, teachers, and other key stakeholders attended the event, which celebrated the school’s progress and discussed future plans. Therefore, this gathering fostered a strong sense of community and collaboration.
Abdulaziz A. Farah, Commissioner at the National Cohesion and Integration Commission, was the event’s chief guest. He spoke about the Commission’s work across Kenya, highlighting the significance of patriotism and national unity amidst the country’s diversity. Farah encouraged students to see success as a continuous journey rather than a final destination, sharing his personal story of overcoming educational challenges to achieve excellence at top national institutions.

School Principal Paul Halake expressed optimism about the school’s upward trajectory. He highlighted the positive impact of ongoing collaboration on both performance and infrastructure. Halake’s remarks underscored the importance of working together to achieve shared goals.
Paul Tobiko, Director of Communication at the Office of the Governor of Kajiado County and a pioneer student of Ereteti Secondary School, also inspired students. He urged them to exceed expectations and strive for greatness, emphasizing that their potential is limitless.
Board of Management Chairman Jeremiah Sailoji echoed these sentiments. He voiced confidence in the school’s future and urged all stakeholders to actively participate in creating a supportive and harmonious environment.
