KNEC Opens Registration for Pearson Edexcel International Exams for Candidates Outside Nairobi.
The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has started the registration for private candidates who wish to take the October/November 2024 Pearson Edexcel International Examinations. This registration is specifically for candidates outside Nairobi, covering various qualification categories.

- International Advanced Level (IAL)

If candidates submit their registration requests after the deadline, they will incur late fees for both KNEC and Pearson Edexcel International.

Registration Requirements:
- Kenyan Citizens: Must obtain authorization from the KNEC CEO and provide both the original and a photocopy of their National ID or Passport. Birth certificates are not accepted.
- Foreign Nationals: Must provide original and certified photocopies of their Passports or Alien IDs, along with a valid entry visa from the Department of Immigration Services valid for the examination period.
- All Candidates: Must include two passport-sized photos with their registration documents.
Registration Locations:
Candidates must register in person at the following designated locations:
- Mombasa: County Director of Education Offices
- Eldoret: Uhuru na Kazi Building, next to State House, 4th Floor, Room 11, or Sub-County Director of Education (Turbo), County Commissioners Building, Oloo Street.

Fee Payment Details:
Candidates are required to make two separate fee deposits:
- Payment in Sterling Pounds (GBP): For Pearson Edexcel International Examination fees, at the Cooperative Bank of Kenya, Co-operative House Branch, Account No. 03120030120300.
- Payment in Kenyan Shillings (Kshs. 16,350.00): For KNEC registration and administration fees, at either Kenya Commercial Bank (Account No. 1116686880) or Co-operative Bank (Account No. 01136030120300).
All fees cover supervision and invigilation costs and are subject to review by KNEC or Pearson Edexcel International.
