KCPE Results Are Scheduled for Release by November 30.
The Kenya Certificate of Primary Education results will be released before the end of November, allowing for placement in secondary schools before Christmas celebrations commence.
The focus of this move by the Ministry of Education is on ensuring that parents do not strain in preparing for school fees for their children as they join form one during the current hard economic times.
The Ministry of Education issued this statement while defending the integrity and credibility of the KCSE examinations, even with the circulating reports on instances of exam malpractice across the country.
As per the Basic Education Principal Secretary, Dr Belio Kipsang, the marking of the KCPE examinations is almost complete. The results will be out in a few weeks.
While issuing this statement at Naivasha Girls, the PS expressed his gratitude to head teachers for their efforts during the national examinations.

Additionally, he denied claims of increased cheating during this year’s KCSE examinations, stating that they have only suspended seven center managers in connection with exam malpractice issues.
According to the PS, the low rate of examination cheating this year results from the measures put in place by the ministry, including the collection of the second batch of examination papers in the afternoon, which prevents early exposure.
He further indicated that the suspended center managers would face disciplinary actions after the examination period was over.
By comparing the total number of examination managers, which stands at 11,000, with the number of suspended center managers (7), he maintains that the KCSE examinations are very credible.
Regarding flooding, the PS emphasized that the government has implemented measures to deploy helicopters in areas facing significant impact to aid in the distribution of examination materials.
