Julius Migosi Ogamba: New Education Cabinet Secretary Nominee.
On Friday, July 19, President William Ruto announced Julius Migosi Ogamba as his nominee for Education Cabinet Secretary. This announcement took place at State House Nairobi, where Ruto forwarded a list of 11 nominees to the National Assembly for consideration and approval.
Professional Background
Julius Migosi Ogamba brings a wealth of experience to this nomination. He has served as the Chairman of Kenya Electricity Generating Co. Plc. In the political arena, Ogamba contested the Kitutu Chache North parliamentary seat in the 2017 elections and was the running mate for former Education CS Ezekiel Machogu in the 2022 Kisii gubernatorial race. His academic journey includes a degree from the University of Nairobi.
