The appointment of the five members to the board coincides with the issuance of guidelines on the certification of skilled workers with no prior formal education through the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)program.
The RPL program is keen on providing a lifeline for many people who have acquired experience over time through volunteering and other forms of self-directed learning.
The agency is in partnership with 26 institutions of learning, including two universities and 24 middle-level colleges, which have already uploaded their graduate records in spearheading the fight against fake qualification documents.
